Testing with Helmet

WOW!!!!   This has been a very busy past couple of weeks.  For those of you that may not know, I took three parts of the GED test last Saturday.  I had every intention of blogging about it that day, but you know how that goes.  I switched into vacation mode a little too fast.  What do you expect from Helmet?

Anyway, the test went good.  I don’t think I aced them or anything, but I am confident that I passed all parts.  Now I just have to take the math and the writing portions.  I don’t like writing essays.  Don’t worry, Helmet will figure out a way to make it fun.

I am sorry for not blogging so much.  I have had a lot of things going on lately.  I will be better about blogging from now on.  I am not going to promise every single day (after all Helmet is on vacation) but I will be much much better.

I also wanted to say Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all.  I am sure I will be seeing you all within the next day or so.  If not…  Just sayin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew it was just a matter of time until people started to recognize the power of helmet.  We’ve made the big time baby!!!!!!!!!

Here I am

I want to start off by saying sorry to all of my fans.  It has  been a crazy couple of weeks.  Every time I think about blogging, I realize there is something else that I have to do first.  Well, you get the hint.  By the time I finsih what I had to do before I blog, I then either forget or am simply too tired.

Being that Christmas is almost here and my class is now over, I should be back to blogging like normal soon enough.

Ok, lets get you caught up on Helmet.  My last class was Tuesday 12-15-09.  I am scheduled to take three out of the five tests on Saturday.  I am trying to figure out when the math and writing tests will be taking place.  As soon as these are complete, look out world.  Helmet will be let loose on the world.

I went to the doctor last Friday as well.  Over all I am healthy.  I have to go to the skin doctor.  My apt isn’t until Feb though.  This kinda bothers me.  There is nothing I can do so let it be as a song once said.  I have not received my blood work yet.  I am waiting for that to come back.  As soon as it does, I will be sure to post the results.

One last thing.  What exactly is Christmas spirit?  I have yet to meet anyone with this so far this year.  It is making me cranky.  I know I don’t have any Christmas spirit this year.  I hope I can find some soon.

helmet land 11-24-09

Class was kinda weird today.  You could tell that both students and teacher didn’t want to be there.  Not all that much work got done today.  We did some math.  Well, most of us did math.  This helmet was unable to do any math at his level.  I spent math time helping another student that wears more than one helmet with her math.

  We start algebra tomorrow.  It will be fun.  G-LOVE let me take the math book home again.  I plan on sitting in my office (yes i have a special helmet office in my home) all day doing math. 

Ok, I must admit it is getting harder and harder to think about school when all I can think of is Thanksgiving.  Oh boy Oh boy I can’t hardly wait.  It is gonna be so yummy.  oops, I leaked a bit of saliva from my wide open mouth onto my keyboard.  I have to stop thinking of food.

I did want to say one thing about the last post.  I understand we don’t usually post things in politics.  I have been getting so frustrated with some of the stupid things going on lately.  I just couldn’t help myself when I saw this one.  In the future I will try to keep my political views and HHN separate.  Well, until the next election anyway.

helmet class for one

Well, it has been odd being the only member in the class for the past couple of days.  I will say the home version of helmet class has worked out very well.  I have gotten a lot of work done.  I am hoping I will be able to take the math portion of the test on Dec. 12.  It doesn’t look good right now, but we’ll see.

Sorry I haven’t blogged sooner.  I have been working at a feverish pace to increase my math skills.  I also have been day dreaming of that most beautiful day.  (aka Thanksgiving) I can’t wait.

SOrry got off topic.  It was fun having class by myself.  Study for a little bit, get a snack.  Repeat this over and over again.  Lots of fun trust me.

I’m kinda hungry, that must mean that helmet class is about to start again.  Bye for now.

What do you (my loyal readers) think about having a guest blogger once a week?  We can do all sorts of things with this.  We can have readers blog, we can also have some of my teachers blog as well.  Well, on second thought maybe not the teachers.  Burt, I would love to see what baby arm has to blog about.  ASs long as she understands that this is an honorable blog and there is to be no cursing OR drinking on the job.  Let me know what you think.
